The Happy Death Day sequel has been announced by Blumhouse and will release in 2019. Here's why it will be better than the first one.

The sequel to Blumhouse's hit horror slasher film, Happy Death Day will come out in February 2019 and I theorize that the sequel will be better than the original! (It will probably be a bit darker with a slightly bigger budget.)
When I went to go see the preview screening of Happy Death Day in 2017, director Christopher Landon gave a Q&A where he alluded to some possible clues about Happy Death Day 2, what it might entail, and what questions about the original it might seek to answer.
Now that we have an official title and release date, I've already got a few theories about the direction that Happy Death Day 2U might take.
Everyone knows sequels are never as good as the originals — except that every once in awhile, they actually are.

-About Happy Death Day-
Tree finds herself being killed over and over by a mysterious person wearing a baby mask. In order to stop the loop she will have to find out who wants her dead. Tree must relive the same day over and over again until she figures out who is trying to kill her and why.
